I'm the kind of book girly that has 4-5 books going at a time. How do you do that? Is the question I get most often when I say that. Well, I'm a mood reader and I need options...and I need certain books for certain times of the day. It's all very complicated in this reader's mind, but it makes sense to me.
Here's what I've got going on at the moment:

I'm about 3/4 of the way done with this VERY intense memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love) and it's killing me. In a good way. I love books that make me feel and boy is this doing it. This was our choice for Blackbird Book Club (Saturday 9/27 at 3pm) and we will have LOTS to talk about it. I don't want to say more about it because I think everyone should go in blind. It's eye-opening and fantastic.

My all-time favorite movie and I've never read the book! It's a nice, short one and I'm glad I'm finally getting around to it.

How have I never read Sherlock Holmes?? I've just finished part 1 of this and all of a sudden part 2 seems like a different story...not sure what's happened so I have to keep going. I was really enjoying it! Although all I picture in my head is Sherlock Hemlock (IYKYK)

"The world seems full of good men, even if there are monsters in it" -Dracula, Bram Stoker"
I'm just at the beginning and I've been reading it before bed (something nice and light) and gosh that description of traveling through the Carpathian Mountains gets me every time.
We're heading into spooky season and I live for it so stay tuned to see what's on the slab for my October WTR (wish to read) list.
OH and please let me know what you're currently reading!
Happy reading!
